To Wax or Not to Wax: Bush, Bald & Body Talk in ENM

To Wax or Not to Wax: Bush, Bald & Body Talk in ENM

The Great Bush Debate: Bald, Bushy, or Somewhere In Between?

Welcome back to another Beyond Monogamy Wednesday quickie, where Adam and Pris somehow turn "do you shave down there?" into a full-blown TED Talk about body image, insecurity, and self-love — with a healthy detour through hemorrhoids and the Bride of Frankenstein. If you've ever wondered how the swinger lifestyle and ethical non-monogamy community really feels about pubic hair, buckle up, because this episode has range.

Pris Is Ready to Quit Cold Turkey

Pris has been getting sugar waxed every four to six weeks for years (shoutout to her favorite aesthetician at Rewaxation in Austin, Texas), but she's officially over it. Between the $65 price tag, the limited weekend hours, and just being tired of the whole routine, she's ready to retire the wax pot and let nature do its thing — trimmed, of course, with the trusty no-nick trimmer from Amazon. Enter the new OnlyFans concept she's been kicking around: "The Bushy Babe." You heard it here first.

Naturally, this spirals into a debate about whether hair "grows back thicker" if you stop shaving (spoiler: that's an old wives' tale), a deep dive into the mysteries of what's happening between the butt cheeks, and Adam's now-iconic line about a "Rapunzel ass troll" waiting for a knight to climb up. You're welcome for that image. Oh, and apparently Pris's bush has a distinguished little streak of white hair going on — so really, she and her vagina can both dress up as the Bride of Frankenstein this Halloween. Iconic couples costume energy.

Adam's Hairy Confession

Adam is, in his own words, "hairy, scary hairy" — somewhere between David Spade and Robin Williams on the body-hair spectrum. It never bothered him growing up, but early in his non-monogamy journey, a group owner he was interested in posted a poll asking "hairy or bare?" and made it very clear she found body hair gross. It stuck with him for way longer than it should have — until he saw someone online drop the wisdom bomb: "if you're really focused on this, you need to grow the fuck up." Preferences are fine. Shaming people for their bodies is not. Consider this your reminder too.

The Manscaping Struggle Is Real

For hairy guys like Adam, manscaping isn't as simple as "just trim it." Clean up too much and suddenly you've got what he lovingly describes as "penis-shaped underwear" made entirely of hair — a landing strip with no roadmap, no YouTube tutorial, and definitely no gel-and-spike routine like some lucky guys get to have. His hair down there apparently has permanent bedhead, no matter how much "poofing" Pris does to try to give it some shelf. Meanwhile Pris has her own preferences: a little trim, not too close to the skin, and definitely no more "accidental patches" that make things look, in her words, like whitey tighties.

They also get into the age-old debate of bald versus bushy from an aesthetic standpoint, with Adam reminiscing about a thick redhead OnlyFans creator whose, ahem, coiffed situation down there was basically an art installation. Pris's take: it's still pretty either way, and honestly, anyone lucky enough to be down there is just happy to be down there.

Wash Your Beards, People

Somewhere in the middle of all this, Pris pivots hard into a PSA about beard hygiene, because apparently a clean, well-maintained beard tells her everything she needs to know about how well someone takes care of the rest of themselves. Adam's not a manscaper, not a metrosexual, not trying to be a JCPenney catalog model — but he keeps himself clean, smelling good, and well put-together, which, according to Pris, is really all anyone's actually asking for.

The Real Talk: FUPA, Body Image, and Self-Love

Underneath all the jokes, this episode gets genuinely sweet. Pris opens up about her FUPA insecurity — the lower belly area where a lot of women, especially after having kids, carry weight they can't seem to shake. She's not ruling out a tummy tuck down the line, but she's also learned to embrace her curves in the meantime, and Adam is very much here for it. Adam has his own version of the same insecurity about his upper pubic area, admitting he compares himself to porn (never a fair comparison, y'all, and he knows it). But both of them land in the same place: love the body you're in, work on it if it makes you feel good, and never do it because someone else thinks you should. Adam's take on Pris's curves? "You fit me like a puzzle." Somebody get the confetti.

The Verdict

Bald, bushy, trimmed, or somewhere in the messy middle — Adam and Pris's official stance is that it's all valid. If someone in the lifestyle is going to write you off over a personal grooming choice, that's on them, not you. As they put it: grow the fuck up, and be comfortable with who you are. Consider this episode your feel-good pubic ode of love.
