Evita “LaVidaLoca” Sawyers

Evita “LaVidaLoca” Sawyers is a Black, queer non-monogamy coach, speaker, educator, and author whose straight-shooting, deeply empathetic approach has guided thousands of people through the realities of consensual non-monogamy. She’s the creator of “Today’s Polyamory Reminder,” a bite-size daily wisdom series that’s grown a devoted audience, and she’s the author of A Polyamory Devotional: 365 Daily Reflections for the Consensually Non-Monogamous (Thornapple Press), a year-long companion for CNM growth and reflection.

Evita’s teaching centers on communication, emotional accountability, jealousy navigation, and the tricky transition from monogamy to non-monogamy. Her work blends practical tools with lived experience, which is why she’s sought after as a keynote speaker and guest across the ENM community. She’s also the subject of the documentary Poly-Love, highlighting the complexity—and humanity—of modern polyamory.
